[VRChat] Have a great VR sign language life!
It's not just about learning sign language! The harmony of people connecting with each other through the VR sign language community is what's important. And an environment where that spreads naturally is also important!
Connecting VR sign language with daily life
It is daily life! What do I mean by that? Well, it means that just learning it doesn't amount to anything! Because it's about using it... No, just saying 'using it' isn't quite right either! It means it only becomes meaningful when it starts to come out naturally.
So, it's not just about learning it, but using it normally in daily life, to the point where you look back and realize you were using it—that's what's natural! But that's really difficult, so it's not something you can do in just a year or so, right?
So what do we do? That leads to the conclusion that we need an environment where it can be used naturally. An environment where you naturally want to use it! That's why daily life is important, and we need a path that connects to it!
Creating a natural connection to daily life through events
That's why I started the 'VRC Sign Language Chat Gathering' event! The main focus is reviewing VR sign language expressions, while on the side, it's a space where people who don't need that review can naturally gather, chat, and spend time freely!
It's definitely hard to jump straight into daily life completely. It's difficult to dive in when you still don't understand much...💦 That's why you can touch upon it a little from a small starting point, and if it's still too hard, you can join in on the sign language study!
It's an event that balances those two things! There were parts I designed to some extent when creating this event, and there were also elements that spread naturally with the flow of the moment! I think that's because those were parts naturally sought after within the community✨✨✨
With that feeling, I hope I can continue to be a bridge for someone's small connection, just like that~ ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و
