Let's talk about something dreamlike tonight

Well, they're telling me to write about my dreams. Writing Club is doing a project where everyone writes, saying, 'Tell us your dreams!' So, here I go.

Clear my afternoons, set aside holidays

I guess this is the first one.

I achieved the 'waking up early' goal I set a while back, so next, I want to finish my work by noon. It doesn't matter if I wake up at 4 or 5, I want to stop exactly at 12:00 (noon). What, you say I should work more? No way, I've written about this a few times, but I'm at a certain age now.

I'm living like a semi-recluse, semi-retired person. Even this is working too much. Even after eating breakfast, I still have six hours, right? It's doable.

So, what will I do in the afternoon? I'll go out. If it's raining, I'll lounge around with my cat and read a book. Working in the fields when it's sunny and reading when it rains—isn't that the best? And if I think of something, I'll post it on X (Twitter), occasionally peek into the Writing Club lounge, ah—it's like a dream.

Oh, holidays? I don't really have any.

Just Obon, New Year's, and Golden Week. I really do want one day a week, a day to just zone out without thinking about anything. Going on a whim to a hot spring (ideal) or cooking an elaborate meal (super ideal)—it's okay to have that much leisure time, right? Alright, let's increase productivity. Let's take back my own time.

Make the Writing Club a 30-year community

You know, people talk about '100-year companies'.

Long-standing businesses, companies with the weight of history. I won't go as far as 100 years (I won't be around), but I'd like to build a 30-year community. What, am I being unreasonable? Will something like a community even last 30 years? Well, I guess, but even YouTube has been around for 20 years.

By the way, the Writing Club is in its third year, so this is 10 times that. It's not entirely out of the question, is it? Let's write and grow old together.

It's meaningless if I just keep it going; I want to keep changing. I've changed quite a bit in these three years. The lounge (chat room) is active, too. It seems like interactions are happening without me knowing. Oh right, someone even commissioned an icon within the club the other day. Ah, maybe this is it.

I have grown quite old.

Everyone else is doing so much better. I don't know if you'll stay in such a community (laughs), but I'll make it a good place~,a place with more texture, I suppose? More substance?I don't know if it's a metaverse (virtual space), but a space, a place where you can truly feel that it exists.

The connections will be real, too. Members marrying each other, or their children joining the writing club (!)

Celebrating someone's publication, encouraging each other when things are tough. That sounds nice, doesn't it?In a world that can be hard to live in at times, it wouldn't hurt to have at least one such place.I will say that I had a good life thanks to the writing club, I promise I will.
