This lyric really hit home! #Let'sWriteTogetherProject
I was running a project like that.
My article from yesterday might have been like, 'Why are you suddenly bringing up your favorite lyrics?', but that was the reason. Membership 'Writing Club' Let's write together project, the theme this time is '#ThisLyricHitHome' It's a show theme too, right? Like 'This lyric hit home! Good phrases'.
I wondered what it would be like to do this in an article. As a result, it was a huge success. There were 30 participating articles. You might think, 'Is that all?', but it's a record high. It's hard to get everyone to feel like 'I want to write!' (laughs)
Actually, I think it was a great theme. Everyone has one or two lyrics that have really hit home in their hearts, right? You want to talk about those things, don't you? Because everyone is a writer. Also, this really shows people's personalities.
I said I would summarize three that caught my eye with some comments, but...
I was suuuper lost. Because, honestly, they were all such good works. It felt like I could hear everyone's youth, and I couldn't choose (but I will choose). I guess there were more people who brought up songs from when they were young? 'People hum the songs they hummed in their teens for the rest of their lives' There was a copy like that too. Well then, here we go.
No good... I cried again even after reading it a second time. I thought it might be cliché, but I couldn't help but cry at that cliché. I don't want to say it, but my tear ducts just keep getting looser with age. The title intertwined with the song, the matching header image, and that last line are just unfair. I want you to read it too ♩
The structure is skillful, they're a pro. They used their writing ability, which usually describes delicious food, for their own wedding this time. You know, the fact that they (still) don't show it there is what makes me go 'ugh'. The fact that they have already left the scene is also effective. That was too much of a spoiler, if you haven't read it yet, please do.
The attachment to the song and the episode are great, of course. But there is a really good part (one line). I see, when you're really struggling. Maybe those are the people who will rush over and encourage you... yes, I cried again. The part about the final signature is also good, I like it.
What kind of lyrics hit home for that person? It seems fun to imagine from the title! They are all good articles, so please check them out~ (Listed in order of submission)
Oh my, you read all the way to here.
I wrote most of it at the beginning, so if I talk about myself. It was actually quite hard for me to write (laughs). Which song to choose, and so on. More than anything, what I thought was, 'Oh?', was the memory of that time, or rather. To be honest, the feelings I held are fading. It no longer has the vividness it had back then.
I brought up Spitz's "Cherry," but I feel like I was holding onto even more indescribable emotions back then.
But I just can't seem to pull them out. You know, like when a dad runs in his kid's sports day and trips over his own feet? It's like the emotional version of that. Like, "there's no feeling left here anymore." That's exactly why I write about how I feel now.Surely this, too, will fade away someday.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated! Come to think of it, I wrote an article like this too. Feel free to check it out if you'd like.
I'd love to hear your thoughts or see you share this! Please also check out the "Writing Club" where we all improve together.
