My husband, who buys my feminine hygiene products and underwear.
Currently,
I am suffering from a mysterious illness called myalgic encephalomyelitis.
I feel lethargic 24/7, 365 days a year,
and I am in excruciating pain all over my body from head to toe. Painkillers don't work, so
every day is like being tortured (is that an old-fashioned way to say it?).
Because of this, I am mostly bedridden.
So,
shopping and such
mostly become my husband's job. (I feel very sorry about this)
My husband goes out to shop after finishing work.
"Is there anything you want to eat? Anything you need?"
He asks me kindly every time.
"I'm out of feminine hygiene products. I need underwear, panties."
Even though I feel so incredibly sorry
when I ask him for women's goods,
"Got it!"
he says, and buys them for me.
"I'm sorry. It must be embarrassing, right?"
When I apologize,
"Huh? Not at all! Because you're sick, honey.
We help each other out when we're in trouble.
You used to buy my underwear for me all the time, didn't you?
It's the same thing. Sometimes the cashier looks surprised, though!
It's a necessity of life, so you don't need to worry about that."
My husband laughs and says, "Haha!"

I wish people wouldn't look at men strangely
when they are buying women's products
(Well, sometimes? There are some perverts out there, so I guess that's a thing)
I wish they would think, "He's probably shopping for various family reasons."

my husband is always,
always kind and easygoing,
so I am able to live comfortably.He doesn't care about his own gain or loss,
or what society thinks.It's been 25 years since we met,
and I respect my husband, who is always kind and funny.
