Amazon pre-orders for "Living a Miracle" have started!
This year, I kept telling my family,
"Maybe this is all just one big prank..."
and I kept saying it.
Days spent just writing and writing.
From my editor,
"Pre-orders for the book are starting. Please make an announcement!"
when I received that message,
the fact that I was publishing a book,
it wasn't a prank or a dream after all!!
I shouted for joy.
It's not quite a novel or an essay,
how should I put it,
I felt like I was facing myself,
and the more I wrote, the more passion I poured into it, feeling like I was exposing myself.
My editor looked at my note and Kindle books,
and really worked hard to help me bring out my various strengths,
and they were also concerned about my health,
I have nothing but gratitude.
Thank you so much.
Since this is my first time publishing a book,
I didn't know anything,
and there were many times I reflected on how much trouble I caused my editor.
They suggested the structure,
I wrote the text,
and we discussed how to convey it to as many people as possible.
Without being self-absorbed,
I wrote down everything,
including my flaws and my uncool parts,
to make it clear what I wanted to convey and how.
Writing beautiful sentences
to be seen well by others
flows easily from my fingertips,
but writing with passion and grit
was difficult,
but I was able to break out of my old shell
and discover a new world.
Discussing the content with my editor over and over,
checking the proofs with a pounding heart,
signing the contract to publish the book,
everything was a first,
and every time I was so excited I wanted to shout!
I cried when the book title was decided,
I cried when I saw the book cover,
I cried my eyes out when I saw the book band,
it was a whirlwind of days.
I'm not a celebrity,
nor an influencer,
just an ordinary person plus a patient.
I am truly grateful to Seishun Publishing
for letting me write this book
and for publishing it.
I want to repay them!! I will!!
I've decided to make writing my job!
I was able to make that resolution
because I was able to publish this book.
Regarding Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,
I cannot write in detail
about treatments and such,
but I wrote this book because I am good at writing,
hoping that by becoming even a little bit famous,
I could be of help to those suffering from the same illness.
Also, the picture book for my daughter that had a big response on note,
my editor said,
"Let's definitely include it!" and put it in the book.
Not just for those with illnesses,
but for those in various situations
who feel it's tough or painful,
but still,
want to live with even a little bit of a smile!
I would be truly happy if those who feel that way
could read it.
So as not to leave any regrets in this one-time life.
I have packed it with many messages.
It is a precious book
that I created together with many people.
Everyone at Seishun Publishing,
my editor,
despite being busy,
Yuki Suetsugu-sensei, who read the book
and kindly wrote the book band,
Nakatomi-sensei, who wrote the commentary,
those I met through the screen,
friends who supported me,
everyone I have met until now,
and my husband and daughter
who have always supported me by my side.
If even one person was missing,
I don't think it would have been completed.
Thank you so, so much.
I would be happy if you could support me
so that this book reaches many people.
"Living a Miracle"
I hope it reaches you all.
Thank you for reading
until the end.
With heartfelt gratitude.
