For those who feel exhausted after gatherings that should be fun
How are you doing?
I'm Yuiho, currently training to be a walking power spot✨
The other day, I went to a girls' get-together for the first time in a while.
It was a lunch with people I met after becoming an adult, but who went to the same school.
I should have been looking forward to it, but by the time I headed home, I was completely exhausted😵
Of course, I was participating in the conversation.
I was nodding, laughing, and listening to what everyone had to say!
And yet, for some reason, I felt drained💦
On the way home, I walked while wondering, "Why is that?"

When I got home and was writing my note,
It suddenly clicked: "Ah, that's it!"💡
I suppose I prefer "engaging in dialogue" over just "talking".
Rather than continuing to make small talk,
"Why does that person think that way?"
"What kind of experiences led them to think that way?"
I find myself wanting to know what's inside them like that🤭
I realized that I am the type of person whose heart is moved by those kinds of moments.
That might be why I enjoy seminars and study groups.
Even with people I meet for the first time, the conversation strangely and naturally deepens.
I become interested in the other person and find myself wanting to know more.
Before I know it, I sometimes even end up connecting people with each other there☘️
I guess I just couldn't do that at this lunch...
It's not that the other person is at fault.
It's just that the depth of conversation I was seeking and the atmosphere of the gathering were a little different.
If it were the old me, even if I felt that sense of discomfort, I would have thought, 'I have to adapt,' and I think I would have.
But now, it might be a bit tough.
Feeling that things 'don't click' like this is also
an important sense for getting to know myself.
Since I started my 'walking power spot' practice, I've been able to listen to the voice of my heart little by little.
For better or worse, I can no longer deceive my own heart (lol).
I've become unable to force myself to adapt like I used to 😅

What I realized this time is that my wish was
'I want to be someone who can make conversation with anyone'
not that, but
'I want to meet people I can have deep dialogues with'
that was it.
Connections are about depth, not quantity!
Lately, I feel that such connections might be the power spots that help me align myself ✨
So from now on, rather than forcing myself to expand my circle,
I want to cherish dialogues where we try to understand each other.
This girls' gathering was less about having fun and more about a time for self-discovery.
That sense of discomfort is actually an important sign, isn't it? 😊
Have you ever had a moment while talking to someone where you felt, "I can talk to this person naturally"?
