[SumaSpa Project!] 'My Favorite Pirika Bunko for You ~MyPiri~'

It was in 2022 that I first wrote a piece for Pirika Bunko. Many people read it, and I received many words of praise.
I vowed to work even harder when I was asked next, but more than two years have passed, and there is no sign of me being asked again.

Well, the first 'Pirika Bunko' was posted in May 2021.
Three noters wrote short-shorts on the theme of 'Scutellaria'. About four years have passed since then. By the 'Cat' episode posted the other day, a total of 162 works had been contributed. (There were 80 themes)

I think they are all very wonderful works, but I haven't been able to read all of them. I suspect there are others who, like me, haven't read every single piece.
I feel like there are surely many works among those I haven't read that would become my favorites. However, there are so many works that it's hard to know where to start reading.

[Bergamot and the Kappa]

I have read many Pirika Bunko works so far and have come to love many of them, but the Pirika Bunko work that I absolutely want everyone to read is this one.

This work, which Eri-san first contributed to Pirika Bunko in October 2023 with the theme of 'Aroma Oil', is a classic story with a slightly different tone from Eri-san's usual unique works.

The way the relationship between the protagonist Maki-chan and Endo-san is exquisitely expressed through bergamot is truly wonderful. Bergamot is a citrus fruit that you cannot eat. Did you know that? By the way, Eri-san apparently didn't know (what?).

The many unique 'Eri-san words' scattered throughout the text, such as 'sepak takraw' and 'nameless green,' also tug at the soft spots in my heart. As I have declared many, many times before, this is a work I absolutely love.
