How much did I 'try' this year? A 2025 spent in constant motion.
If you're hesitant, just do it. If you move, something will change.
Before I knew it, this year flew by at an incredible speed.
It wasn't just a year of being swept along; looking back, it's filled with a series of 'trying things out'.
What kind of year was it for all of you?
Was it a good year?
Is there anything you left undone?
Like spring cleaning (/ω\)
This time, I've written down what kind of year a curious college student like me had!
I went to Fukushima and even had the chance to visit the Hida City Office in Gifu Prefecture.
I wrote this with tons of photos!! As a review of my own year (*^▽^*) (*^▽^*)
Chapter 1: The first half, diving into local regions and facing challenges
■ Writing a report on 'Reconstruction Agriculture' in Fukushima
I saw the reconstruction site with my own eyes and was allowed to write a report.
Apparently, it's posted on J-stage.
I was asked to write the report just a few days before the deadline.
And that was during a busy time with exams and such.
Inside,
I was screaming,
'Aaaaaaaaaah!'
I forced myself to carve out the time and finished it.
It was a huge relief because the professor helped me with adding photos and proofreading.
Walking the land, meeting people, and listening to their stories.
I met people who quit their corporate jobs to come grow flowers in Fukushima, and people running idol groups. The encounters here led to even more new encounters.

It's all battered and dented.
Looking at the stage, you can tell it was graduation season.

■ Holding a workshop in Hida
I stood on the side of "creating a workshop myself."
The time was one hour
The number of participants was hard to estimate
There were mainly four management members
An event where participants could interact with each other
(+_+) I wanted to shout.
While touching upon local issues and the appeal of resources
I was able to finish it with content that conveys the message that "troubles are resources."

■ Problem-solving presentation in a collaborative class with Yamaguchi City Hall
The difficulty for the administration to reach students and international students with information, etc.
Taking on challenges I found myself as a student.
Interviewing people and trying to create SNS posts, etc.
In the end, I managed to complete the presentation.
The field of public serviceI was able to learn a little about what kind of work they do.

The time given is usually very short.
I feel like it's just right in the end, but it makes me nervous (;'∀')
Chapter 2: Experience of thinking thoroughly in the business field
■ Internship: How to fill vacant rooms in a building
In a two-day short-term internship, I seriously faced the challenges of a real estate company.
I thought from scratch about "how to fill vacant rooms," planned, and proposed it.
土地の条件をみて、
アイディア出しをして課題→解決策を半日足らずで考えた。
やっぱりプレゼン作るときは時間がない(゚Д゚;)I think it was the first time I gave a presentation in front of working professionals.
I am grateful that they listened to a first-year university student's opinion very seriously.

■ Improving the sales floor at the Fukuoka Flower Festival
Through connections made when I went to Fukushima,
I helped out at the Zuzu Warehouse flower show booth.
The job I was given was just to put stickers on flower pots.
Of course, I finished it right away and had nothing left to do.
Naturally, I couldn't just go home without doing anything,
so on the first day, I tried my hand at attracting customers.
On the second day, I ran around improving the sales floor with the designer.
コーヒーかすからたい肥を作る過程を触って匂って体験できる面白い場所もある。
自分でいろいろな土を選んで実際に植物を植えることができる体験もある。
なのに、売り場に説明がないのでお客さんが全然来ない。What catchphrase would best convey the appeal of this booth,
what kind of explanation would make it attractive—I procured cardboard, string, markers, and the like, and made improvements.
The idea of creating work for yourself is what I was taught.

Summary: If you're in doubt, just do it.
Looking back at it all, this year was truly a year of constant motion.
I interacted with so many people and received so much help.
Thank you very much.
There is one phrase at the root of my actions.
If you're in doubt, just do it.
I hope this step creates encounters, creates journeys, and creates learning.
If there is one thing I can say to myself this year, it is just this.
You moved a lot. You did well.
But, well, take it easy too, I'll tell myself.
What kind of year was this year for you?
Who did you meet and what did you talk about,
what did you think about and what did you experience?
I hope it has been a good year.
I am also planning to post a second part to this reflection.
The next one will focus on encounters and adventurous spirit!!
