Thou,
do not be deceived by what appears before thine eyes.

The light always illuminates only one side, and the reverse side, submerged in shadow,
will forever continue to escape thy sight.

Even if thou peekest from the side,
it is but a fragment of the "truth."

Forms shift, and depending on the viewer's position,
the dragon becomes a snake, and the mountain turns into a valley.

Carve this: there is no way in this world to know the "absolute truth."

Because of that, you must spread the wings of your imagination.

Draw countless illusions, the shapes of shadows that could exist, within your heart.

Most of them will be hollow delusions, and you will likely never pierce through to the truth.

But do not worry.

Compared to the foolishness of believing one side is the "whole picture,"

those who wander through a thousand fantasies
stand in a place far closer to the truth.

Even if the "truth" that eventually arrives is a form you do not desire,

prepare a vessel here and now
to quietly embrace it.

Burn the sacred markers and sever the guiding threads.

Only those who extinguish the outer light and embrace the possibilities within their own darkness,
will draw near to the supreme truth,

known as "I do not know."
will draw near to the supreme truth.
