[Review] I created a professional-grade site with zero design knowledge—I tried out Claude Design

I'll start with the conclusion first.
Claude Design
was incredibly good. I was blown away.

Honestly, I underestimated it lol.
I thought, "Designs made by AI are probably just mediocre, right?"
but it was completely different...

Using Claude Design, I created
this site✨

It's the landing page for "Guru-zu,"
a gourmet influencer training course I run🍙

I didn't ask a designer,
nor did I write any code.
I just gave instructions via chat,
and this quality came out😳

I was surprised myself...😂

First of all, what is Claude Design?

Claude Design is
an AI tool that was just released on April 18, 2026🤖
I tried it while it was still hot off the press lol

It's a tool provided by Anthropic,
and it is currently a research preview (experimental version) limited to paid plans.

Just by giving instructions in a chat format,

• website landing pages

• presentation materials

• diagrams

• animated content

and more can be created.

While tools that "can create designs with AI"
are increasing,
Claude Design stands out
visually and in terms of usability quality, it feels a cut above the rest✨

What was good about actually using it

① The visual design and usability are truly excellent

This was the most surprising part😳

The design is so sophisticated and user-friendly that you wouldn't believe it was made by AI.
It produces output that is at a "ready-to-use" level!!!

2. Faster than Claude Code

I have tried creating a site with Claude Code before,
but Claude Design finished it overwhelmingly faster.

It runs smoothly and is stress-free👀

3. There is a trick to writing prompts

If you create it while interacting directly
in the Claude Design chat box,
you will burn through your credits quickly.

This is the usage method I recommend☝️

Just by following this flow,
you can significantly reduce credit consumption✨

Honestly, this part concerned me

Credits are finite

Claude Design is not unlimited;
credits are consumed every time you use it.
Be careful, as it will disappear in an instant if you build it while chatting in the chat box⚠️

The method of creating the prompt
in advance and then pasting it in, as introduced above,
is also effective for saving credits.

It takes a little extra effort to publish the site you created

The landing page created in
Artifacts (the screen where the design is displayed) in Claude Design
is in a preview state that only you can see as it is.

To actually have people see it,
you need to upload it to an external server
and issue a public URL.

But you can totally do this even with zero knowledge!

What I used was Netlify Drop.
No login required, it's free, and you can
issue a URL just by dropping the files in.

The process is incredibly simple:

At first, I was like, "Wait, do I have to generate the URL myself?"
but
once I tried it, I was done in 30 seconds lol

I really want these people to use it

• People who aren't good at design

• People who want to create a site without spending much time

• People who want to brand themselves as freelancers

I want everyone to use it,
I truly recommend it 😆

I especially want people who think, "AI seems useful, but
I don't think I can master it"
to give it a try!

You don't have to master AI all by yourself

New tools
have the highest hurdle when you first start using them.

While you're putting it off because "it's too confusing,"
the gap between you and those who have mastered it keeps growing.

I don't want you to feel that frustration,
