For the reader, or for oneself?
There is a post trending on X.
It was about the question, "Do you write your work for the reader?"
It asked whether one should suppress what they want to write just to entertain the reader.
The more I think about it, the more I realize it's a difficult issue.
Commercial authors surely keep the reader in mind, but there is also the opinion that one cannot continue creating if they aren't writing what they want to write.
I think there are many different ways of thinking about it.
By the way, I am definitely writing for myself (oops.
Though, there are times when I use trial and error to ensure the fun comes across to people with the same tastes and preferences.
What kind of things should I write, and how?
What can I do to make people think it's interesting?
Creation is profound, so I want to continue while thinking about various things.
