Where there's a will, there's a way.

This powerful English phrase...

When I was 13, I decided in my heart to make this phrase the axis of my life.

If something doesn't go well, I'll remember this phrase.

I remember telling my mother that.

Eventually, this phrase became a part of me before I knew it, to the point where I stopped even having to 'remember' it.

Just like a tattoo carved into my body.

But as I grew into an adult, life became increasingly complex.

No matter how strong your will is, there are certainly things that cannot be helped.

...I used to think that, but looking back later,

many of the things that 'could not be helped' were,
simply things that 'at that point in time'could not be helped.

Before I knew it, time and experience had moved something little by little, and as a result, I was moving forward.

However—

The hardest part isn't when your will is broken.

It's when you no longer know 'what you desire'.

When the compass of your heart becomes clouded, and you lose sight of even where you should be aiming.

When you don't know what to do, and you just stand there, frozen.

That is precisely when finding a 'transformation code' becomes the key.

Look for elements in your current situation, the experiences and thoughts you have accumulated so far, that can be transformed into 'something'.

It might be a small realization, or perhaps a switch in your way of thinking.

Or it could be a fragment of a hint, a conversation with someone, or an unexpected alternative.

The closer that 'transformation code' is to your true self, the more you get the feeling that multiple leads will unravel in a chain reaction.

Just as if tangled threads were smoothing out effortlessly.

However, if you try to force a transformation with a code that doesn't feel like you, strangely enough, it only gets more tangled.

Sometimes, it can even lead to the thread snapping entirely.

──Perhaps you are currently in a phase where you just cannot find it.

Even if you have found a way to earn money, it is not connected to your heart.

Conversely, you might have a vague understanding of what state makes you feel 'happy'.

But the method or form to connect that to your 'work' or the foundation of your life is not yet visible.

"What is it that I truly love?"

And sometimes, even "vanity" or "material desires" that we don't even notice ourselves get in the way.

And then, that "passion" becomes blurred.

So, at times like these—

Don't rush, don't hurry,

Just spend time "having a dialogue with yourself."

Toward whatever makes your heart move, even just a little.

Try learning something, talk to someone, or place yourself in nature.

There are days when such time feels like a waste.

But I already know, because I've had the experience of rushing and getting disappointing results.

That the "time I thought was wasted" will eventually become my own asset.

Still, while it's easy to say in words, when you're in the middle of it, you inevitably worry and suffer.

Even so, little by little, there is nothing to do but regain the contours of yourself.

The wind feels good today.

If I could fly away to some forest or the sea,

Would something become clear again?
