This time, it is DVD release information for classic Japanese films.

For a while, classic films were being released one after another on Amazon Prime and similar services, but recently, the release of streaming titles has slowed down.

However, DVD releases of classic films are being actively carried out.

[September & December] Toho DVD Masterpiece Selection

On September 20, 6 titles featuring Keiju Kobayashi and others will be released.

It is also known that on December 20, 4 works featuring Yoshio Harada will be released.

[October–December] Shintoho Cinema Nostalgia

"Shintoho Cinema Nostalgia" titles are being released every month.

It is a new label that started in September 2020, and it is releasing DVDs of Shintoho films that continued from 1947 to 1961.

This time, I posted DVD release information for classic Japanese films.

Shintoho films were available to watch on Amazon Prime for a while, but they are not available now.

DVD releases are great, but I also hope they put effort into streaming releases.
