Starbucks Stamp Guy [Shibuya Starbucks Visit Log Part 3] Calm & Historic Shibuya Edition
⸻
While the glitzy redevelopment is nice,
Shibuya also has Starbucks locations that offer “a sense of security that has been there for a long time”
.
A place of rest for office workers,
a cultural hub reborn through renovation.
In a constantly changing Shibuya,
I went in search of the
unchanging warmth.
⸻
Even as it is swallowed by the waves of redevelopment,
there are Starbucks locations that continue to welcome people as they always have.
These two stores allow you to experience Shibuya
from the perspective of “living” rather than “touring”
.

Shibuya Cross Tower Store

Visit Date: October 2023
Opened in 1999.
For a quarter of a century,
it has continued to support office workers
.
From the terrace seats,
the Shuto Expressway is right in front of you.
As you take a break while watching the flow of cars,
you realize, “Ah, I’m living in the city today too.”

Shibuya Parco Store

Visit Date: April 2025
The interior, reborn through renovation, is a space where
art and digital technology fuse
. The latte I drank while surrounded by the images projected on the walls
tasted a bit like the future.
It was a cup that seemed to condense Shibuya’s culture.

Coffee full spec to the brim
Milk served in a paper cup (^^)
I was able to forget the time and spend it in a calm space.
But when I left the store, there was even more of a crowd in the hustle and bustle of Shibuya.

It’s quite large-scale

there was also scaffolding

When you look closely,
it’s an ad for Mr. Ohtani.
I received a proper
sample
of the promotional product

He’s not sunburned, is he? ♪
⸻
Conclusion
Shibuya Cross Tower and Shibuya Parco.
Both were places where you could feel the “
history” that has been close to people’s lives.
Next time, finally, is the
“Sacred Site TSUTAYA” edition of Shibuya Starbucks. ⸻
Here are the Starbucks stamps I got💁
