Starbucks Stamp Guy's Stamp-Getting Journey: Fukuoka Edition in Hakata #1
A certain Saturday in August 2025, just after 2:00 PM
Location: Amu Plaza Hakata 2nd Floor Store

For some reason, when I visited this same store in August 2025, the stamp was displayed as undecided, as if it were a new store!?
I returned to Fukuoka for the Obon holidays.
Before showing my face at my usual yakitori place...
Yes, the Starbucks Guy in me started to get restless.
First, I started my Starbucks tour from my home ground, the Hakata Station area!
However, Hakata Station was a literal flood of people, with homecoming travelers and inbound tourists.
Just walking through the aisles, I kept bumping shoulders with people.
After chanting "people, people, people..." in my head three times, I was already 50% exhausted.
Still, refusing to lose, I charged into the Starbucks on the second floor of the station.
This place has a great selection of tea-based menu items, and the percentage of stylish women in the store is high.
The seats lined up along the large oval glass window have a sense of luxury, almost like an airport lounge.
...but, unfortunately.
Even though there are over 100 seats, there were zero empty ones.
It was so crowded, it was as if the seats from a packed train had been cut out and gathered here.
In the end, I couldn't sit today and retreated.
But I will definitely conquer this sophisticated space next time.
I'll report on my debut as a "window-seat dweller in front of the oval glass" next time.
