On September 1, 2025, the Starbucks Reserve® Cafe reopened on the 2nd floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building.
My assumption as an uncle that it would have calmed down a bit by a weekday evening a few days later was wrong!?
Once I stepped inside, it was a completely different world from the usual Starbucks.
The concept is "Milanese Bar x Japanese Kissaten."
The bright space spreading out behind the glass and the bakery items lined up in the showcase are just like a European cafe.
With a worldview completely different from a regular Starbucks, it is truly a shop where you can experience an "overseas vibe in Shinjuku."
"Latte and Cornetti as the stars? And even the prices are Reserve-level!?"
Even as I instinctively checked my wallet, I couldn't help but feel excited by the sense of exclusivity.
