🚶♂️ From Komazawa-daigaku Station to the Ramen Festa
I headed to Komazawa-daigaku Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to go to the Tokyo Ramen Festa.
After exiting the ticket gate, it was about an 11-minute walk from the "Komazawa Park Exit".
As the station name suggests, while I was heading to my destination through the Komazawa University campus,
I spotted the words "Starbucks Komazawa 1-chome Store" on the map.
Since I was there, I decided to take a break.

🐶 A Reserve store that allows pets? A surprising discovery
The moment I peeked inside the store, I let out an "Oh!"
It turns out, pets are allowed inside.
It's like being in America
Moreover, it's a Starbucks Reserve store.
When I asked at the register, "Excuse me, could I have a One More Coffee?",
the staff member explained it to me politely.
"I'm very sorry, but you cannot use the One More Coffee benefit for drip coffee at this store.
Please choose from this menu instead."
Since I was there, I ordered the "Micro Blend No. 21".
"What kind of coffee did you have for your first cup today?"
"Um... I don't remember (laughs)"
Lately, I've been taking photos of the day's coffee at the register to keep a record,
and when I told them that, they said, "If you'd like, here is a coffee card," and handed it to me.

🌟 The 4-star Black Apron Barista
When I said, "This mark has four stars. That's amazing,"
the barista smiled.
"You know about that? I'm so happy.
This machine is also different from other stores. Would you like to see it?"
They showed me the machine exclusively for drip coffee, and
when I asked, "Can I take a picture?", they readily agreed with a "Go ahead."

Even though I was getting takeout, they treated me with such care.
It was truly "That's Starbucks for you," "That's Reserve for you," "That's 4 stars for you".
It was a heartwarming moment.

With a flavor reminiscent of candied citrus and a taste like dark chocolate.
A blend named after the 21st letter of the Greek alphabet, 'Φ (Phi)', which signifies the 'Golden Ratio'.
It is truly an 'aesthetic of balance,' where the rich chocolate flavor from Latin America and the complex acidity from Africa are exquisitely harmonized.
It was a special cup unique to the Reserve store, offering a consistently delicious taste regardless of the brewing method.
