Starbucks Stamp Guy's Stamp-Getting Journey: Fukuoka Edition in Tenjin #1
A certain Saturday in August 2025, past 3:00 PM
Location: Starbucks Tenjin Chikagai Store

I suffered a defeat at the Starbucks in Hakata Station, where there were zero seats available.
Determined to 'sit down next time and write my notes elegantly!', I took the subway to Tenjin.
A 3-minute walk from Tenjin-minami Subway Station.
I charged into one of Kyushu's most crowded areas during the Obon holiday in Tenjin.
And then... wow!
Miraculously, a single empty seat was waiting there just for me.
Isn't the probability of this about the same as winning the lottery?
I immediately secured the seat and ordered a Colombia with a One More Coffee.
From the window, I could see the waves of people passing through the underground mall.
The shop, with about 30 seats, was of course full, and the hallway outside was packed with people, people, and more people.
Perhaps because of the welcome rain today, the density was even higher.
If you listen closely, you can hear not only Japanese but also Korean mixed in, making it feel like an international exchange cafe.
I sipped my coffee while soaking in the energy of the Tenjin underground mall.
I said 'I'll come again' quite lightly, but...
There's probably no guarantee I'll be able to sit next time.
