Starbucks Stamp Uncle's Urban Trilogy Part 3: Double Shock in Ginza! ~Conquering the Reserve® Store & Teavana® Store~

A certain day in August 2025.
Uncle arrived in glittering Ginza.
The stage for this time is two consecutive Starbucks locations that are both a coffee mecca and a tea sanctuary.

Act 1: Reserve® Store Ginza Maronier-dori

The moment I stepped into the glamorous space—
"...There's no drip coffee!?"

Uncle almost dropped his tumbler in a panic.
But then, a kind staff member offered a godsend of a suggestion.
"We can prepare a Grande size in your tumbler if you'd like a cold brew."

Saved... Stamp acquired.

After finishing my order at the second-floor register and heading down to the first floor, freshly baked bread caught my eye.

Unable to resist the temptation, I ordered the "Bomboloni Tiramisu".

A fluffy texture, rich mascarpone, and a bittersweet aftertaste.
"Is this the taste of Ginza..."
For the first time on his stamp journey, Uncle savored the taste of "luxury."

Act 2: Starbucks Teavana® Store Ginza
But the Ginza adventure doesn't end there.

Basement floor of the same building

Waiting there was a Starbucks specializing in tea.

"...There's no coffee!?"
Uncle, a second unexpected shock.

However, an angel appears here too.
A staff member with a lovely smile and natural face kindly taught me.
“If you're taking out with a tumbler, we can prepare these three types of tea right away”

“Please give me Peach Tranquility❣️”

I'm grateful...
The wait time is only 1 minute.
While looking around the store during that time, even though there are over 100 seats, there are zero solo male customers.
Even counting the men with couples, there are at most 10.

“...I'm glad I got it to go”
The uncle who was baptized by the tea culture in Ginza quietly left the store with his tumbler in hand.

In Ginza, the common sense that “drip coffee is a given” doesn't apply.
However, in its place, top-tier smiles and new experiences await.

The one I visited in Ginza before was the somewhat unique “CIRCLES Ginza Store”.

◆CIRCLES Ginza Store

This isn't just a cafe, but a co-working space themed around “connections.”
The area called the SMART LOUNGE is bustling with people enjoying coffee while working.

The uncle, while pretending to look at his smartphone, has only one thing in his heart—
“I'll leave as soon as I get the stamp.”
Even pretending to work feels too out of place.

◆Ginza Five Store (Ginza 5-chome Underground Mall)

A certain Saturday in March 2025

With an excellent location, it is accessible from Harumi-dori Avenue above ground and directly connected to the Marunouchi Line Ginza Station underground.
It is a hideaway-style Starbucks tucked away in the basement of Ginza Five.

I felt relieved, thinking, 'Even an old guy like me fits in here!' but that was short-lived.
The area was filled with businessmen in chic suits.
That was the moment I realized that even the underground in Ginza is tough.

◆ Echika Fit Ginza Store

A certain Saturday in March 2025

Inside the store, there are four 'red brick-style' pillars that evoke the history of Ginza.
The outer wall features a depiction of the sea where the mermaid Siren lives, with 'coffee trees' hanging over it.
It is a carefully crafted design inspired by the 'willow' trees that line the streets of Ginza.

I couldn't help but wonder, 'Is this an art museum!?'
But what I'm holding is still a paper cup.
I get my stamp in my usual 'old guy' style, which doesn't quite fit the artistic space.

Behind the glitter of the brand-name streets, there are underground malls, bricks, and co-working spaces.
