KOBEP＜第3話＞木を選んだ理由

レーザー加工機で、彫刻・切り抜きができる材料は色々あります。

まずは、「木材」。

神戸レーザーファクトリーではMDFを多用しています。

実際にMDF商品を作ってみると、
焦げやにおい、断面の荒れなど安定していて均一なので
「自分の好きな形」が形にしやすい気がします。

とはいえ、天然木も捨てがたいなぁ。

そこで、
見た目は天然木っぽく、かつ加工や仕上がりが安定している・・・。
MDFを3種類作りました。
