Nono's Diary: 'It's All Mercury Retrograde's Fault' ~Weekend Edition~
Hello.
I'm Nono Nono, who has recently started dabbling in oracle cards.
A Noter I love who does card readings says that when they draw cards, a 'gyaru' (gal) descends upon them, but for me, a 'Kyoto woman' descends.
Why? I'm an Osaka woman, after all...

*It's long, so I decided to split it up this week.
November 14th (Fri)
A day where I had pain from my sinuses to the top of my head (Baihui).
I feel like something similar happened last week, too. For better or worse, I don't run a fever each time (my body doesn't fight the virus), so I end up with a half-baked illness—is that why I get similar symptoms in a short period? Or is it fatigue from the temperature difference? (I'm being bullied by the Earth...)
Since my little demon (child) went back to school energetically after the grade-level closure, I canceled the visit to my grandmother's grave before her memorial day that I had promised my parents (sorry, Grandma...), and focused entirely on resting until the afternoon.
In the evening, it was the little demon's swimming lesson again. Since I wasn't feeling well, I took her by car instead of the swimming bus. I felt bad for the little demon, but I decided not to watch and instead slept in the car while waiting. ...And wow, what is this? It's comfortable!! I don't have to deal with the heat or cold at the bus stop, I don't have to wait outside until the viewing time, and if I feel sick like I did yesterday while watching, I can rest in the car!! Until now, I had been using the bus as practice so the little demon could eventually go alone, but since it doesn't look like she'll be able to go by herself until about the third grade, I had a new realization today that we might as well commute by car for a while, as it seems easier for both mother and daughter.
November 15th (Sat)
Astrology reading session day. I've done about 30 astrology reading sessions so far, and thankfully, this was my first repeat session.
Actually, I was feeling heavy about today's session... because when I deal with this client, for some reason, I find it hard to draw a boundary between myself and them. I end up wanting to improve their situation so much...!! that I get too emotionally invested and almost end up trying to control them. In the last session, I was dragged down by it and felt depressed for several days, so my astrology teacher and fellow astrology friends advised me to properly draw a boundary between myself and the client this time. As if to emphasize it, my teacher and astrology friends appeared in a dream I had at dawn, and my teacher (a woman) even gave me a tight hug. I had a good dream at a good time. Feeling reassured that my teacher and astrology friends are with me, I headed into the session, and it turned out to be more peaceful than I imagined.
However, even though I was careful, I must have been dragged along a little bit. After returning home, when I tried to draw a card for that client using my oracle cards, one card jumped out from somewhere unrelated, and when I checked its meaning, it said, 'Make sure to draw a firm boundary with the other person (by Kyoto woman).' ...I-I've been seen through!! Oracle cards are terrifying!!
November 16th (Sun)
Should I say as expected... a day spent in bed. I was already feeling under the weather, and I did an astrology session on top of that, so of course that would happen, it can't be helped. I'm causing trouble for my husband and daughter, but to recover quickly, I'm going to rest thoroughly today. It feels like I've been crawling into bed every other day...?
I received a worried message from a mutual acquaintance of the client from yesterday's astrology session. Since this repeat astrology session was arranged through this mutual acquaintance (a mom friend), the mom friend also knows a little about the client's situation. However, since it's personal information, we only talked about information we both already knew, but I (and probably the mom friend too) was able to organize my thoughts and felt refreshed.
After hanging up the phone and falling asleep again, the little demon came over with some snacks. While I was sleeping, the mom friend I had just been talking to apparently brought over a pound cake from a nearby shop. It was a thank-you gift because I often listen to the mom friend's consultations by linking them to the stars. Since it was a day when my condition was poor, it really touched my heart. I'm so happy♡
Weekend Edition Summary
Some of you might think, 'Don't blame everything on the stars!' based on the titles and content of the weekday and weekend editions, but actually, isn't blaming the stars quite peaceful? Blaming people is nasty, and excessive self-blame isn't good for mental health. From Mercury's perspective, it's like, 'How rude! If I felt like it, I'd pull you in and melt you with a zap! (Mercury's daytime temperature is 430°C–450°C),' so even if I hold a grudge, it probably won't hurt or itch.
'It's all Mercury retrograde's fault'...... Yeah, peaceful, peaceful.
