Picture Book Introduction | 3 Favorite Picture Books for a 3-Year-Old Book Lover
A little while ago, I introduced my 5-year-old's favorite picture books!
I was so happy to hear from those who said they were looking forward to the next post!
Thank you so much!
This time, I'm going to introduce my 3-year-old's favorite picture books!
My second son also constantly brings me his favorites, calling for me to read them over and over again.
I love books myself, so it makes me happy that my children love them too.
So, let's get right into the introductions!
1. Kotoba Asobi Restaurant (Wordplay Restaurant)
This one is a huge hit!!
If anyone asks me for book recommendations, this is the first one I suggest! It's a favorite in our house.
I think my eldest son might have even learned his hiragana from this book; he read it so many times.
My 3-year-old is also starting to memorize it by heart.
This book features wordplay in order from A to Wa like this:
Aisu cream,
Asakara,
Akubi
It's the kind of book you can enjoy reading while getting into a rhythm.
It's even good brain training for adults (lol).
I highly recommend it!!
2. Kuma Kuma Pan: Ichinichi Panya-san (Bear Bear Bread: Bakery for a Day)
I'd like to recommend this book to anyone who likes books about bread.
There are many books in the Kuma Kuma Pan series, but this one is my favorite.
It's a picture book where children visit a bakery and actually help make bread together.
This picture book is also a favorite, with requests to read it about every other day.
3. Exciting Aquarium
This is a pop-up book, but it has been read so much that it is now tattered and the pop-ups no longer spring out.
Since my child loves aquariums, it seems to be a favorite, and they read it over and over again.
Deep-sea fish also appear, and even adults can enjoy it while wondering, 'What was the name of this one again?'
That concludes my introduction to recommended picture books for a 3-year-old!
Please let me know if you have any favorite picture books too!
