The Idol Who Found Me
I have been a producer (fan) of THE IDOLM@STER SideM for about 11 years now. THE IDOLM@STER was originally a dating sim with female idols, but this is the male-idol-only version. It is not a dating sim, though. It is a game where you produce 2D male idols.
My favorite idol is Soichiro Shinonome from the unit Cafe Parade.
I met him on the day the social game version launched and fell in love with him.
I wasn't interested in him based on the pre-release information, but as I got to know him, I realized he was
someone who takes care of me. Of course I would fall in love with someone like that.Also, since I am in a position to support Mr. Shinonome as a producer, we are taking care of each other.
At the same time that I scouted him to be an idol, Mr. Shinonome made me a producer.
"Thank you for finding me."
We are in a relationship where we both feel that way. I think that is a very happy thing.
SideM saved my life. I won't go into details. It is something precious that belongs only to me.
I don't want anyone to consume it, so I will take it to my grave.
As for THE IDOLM@STER SideM, the game service has ended. However, the live concerts and collaborations are still going strong. Thanks to that, my life is fun.
Otaku often say, "I met [so-and-so] and my life was ruined," but after meeting SideM, my life was put in order.
There was a time when I lived thinking, "I wish I wouldn't wake up tomorrow" when I went to sleep at night, but now my life is the most fun it has ever been, and I intend to live it to the fullest, even if I inconvenience others.
"The past makes the future shine" is what SideM taught me.
In THE IDOLM@STER, I was drawn to Ritsuko Akizuki. In Cinderella Girls, I grew to love Mai Fukuyama, in Million Live, I was moved by Matsuri Tokugawa, and in SideM, I was saved by Mr. Shinonome.
By the way, in Shiny Colors, I like Mamimi Tanaka, and in Gakuen Idolmaster, I like Mao Arimura.
THE IDOLM@STER, and SideM in particular, is one of the pillars of my life. It is something precious that stays by my side.
The sparkling time the idols gave me is my jewel, and I keep it in a treasure chest in my heart.
I think that both I and SideM will eventually come to an end. Even so, I believe that the beautiful, magical feelings are eternal.
