Meeting the people I wanted to see - 2024 Golden Week ♡ Asakusa

Since last year, I've been looking forward to "meeting the people I want to see," not just during Golden Week.

This Golden Week, I went to visit my son in Kanagawa.

After this article, Keiko-san contacted me and we decided to meet on May 3rd.

Keiko-san also invited chiyo-san, and the three of us had a date in Asakusa ❤️

The two of them arrived first and said, "We're having tea at Doutor, waiting for you," and that place was right in front of me as soon as I left the station ☕️

I'm so grateful for that thoughtfulness ✨

Even though it was our first time meeting, it didn't feel like it. Note is wonderful ✨

There was no need for self-introductions.

We started with, "Oh, so Noko-san wears glasses," and then listened to the story of Keiko-san's smartphone loss incident at Konpira-san and stories about chiyo-san's lovely home. As our lunch reservation time approached, we started moving ♡

We had a blast with the selfie stick that chiyo-san brought 🤣

We had an elegant lunch at this place that Keiko-san found for us 😊

We all ordered different things (lol).

Who you eat with, what you eat; it was a wonderful time where both were fulfilled.

I didn't feel pressured at all.

How the conversation just keeps going

It's because we talk so much on note, isn't it?

I heard this hotel is famous 😊 My wife told me

The weather is so nice, I'm in a great mood, and I couldn't ask for anything more

At Keiko-san's suggestion, we drew fortune slips.

When fortune slips are this bad, you just have to laugh 🤣

Keiko-san's 'Suekichi' actually had worse things written on it, so it was so disastrous that I wondered if we all actually got 'Kyo'.

But three steps later, we forgot all about it and were talking about something else ♡

We are so positive 😊

I can't forget chiyo-san's words: 'With so many foreign tourists around, it's something else that we'd draw so many Suekichi and Kyo...'

Out of all the many fortune slips, for us to end up with these results, in a way, it might be amazing 👍

We took photos in a few places, and then it was tea time (lol)

Talking is the main event, after all ♡

Even here, the three of us ordered different things

Keiko-san had ice cream, and chiyo-san had... was it cream anmitsu?

The conversation really never ends

Five and a half hours since we met up

The time passed in the blink of an eye 😭

Keiko-san, who is caring and reliable

I knew she was a kind person from our email exchanges, not just from her articles ♡

She is cheerful, friendly, and a fun conversationalist; it's no wonder people rely on her ✨

Chiyo-san, who is so thoughtful

As you can tell from her articles, she is a kind and gently warm person ♡

She has such a cute and comfortable presence ✨

Both of them have a strong sense of 'self,' they shine (not like jewelry, haha), and I thought they were both charming and cool.

The two people I never would have met if not for note

Thank you for making the time ✨

Thank you for coming all the way to Asakusa ✨

I am truly grateful ✨

We promised to
visit Chiyo-san's home someday
and to all stay together in Gunma and go to the hot springs
