Music Has a Destination

At first, I just lined up words and sounds, and made songs with a feeling of 'there, it's done'.

They were just empty vessels, mere forms. It was fun, though.

At some point, wishes I wanted to put into the songs and feelings I wanted to convey (but couldn't say directly) started to emerge.

To use an analogy, I started putting various dishes into vessels made of words and sounds.

After making them, I thought,

By the way, who is going to eat this? Did I make it for myself?

Or did I want someone to eat it?

Food is eaten with the mouth, and music is eaten with the ears. To create something means someone will eat it.

Since it was born, it means it will travel aiming for somewhere.

I want to deliver it to someone's ears. I want to deliver it to my own ears, too.

Of course, I want it to reach you as well.

Music has a destination.

That is what I think.

Because you listen to it, I want to make more things and I want to sing.

I made it with all my heart because I wanted to make you happy.

Make sure you eat it and enjoy it.
