Mochi Pro [Weekly Short-Short Note]

I went to a nearby shrine with my family for our first visit of the year. My son will be a middle schooler this year.
How much longer will he come with me?

We waited in line for about 15 minutes before it was our turn.
After putting in his offering, my son prayed for longer than usual.

"What did you wish for?"
"About my future."

"Your future?"
"Yeah. I want to be a Mochi Pro in the future."

"I'm tenacious, right? So, I think I can do it."

Recently, he's started calling himself 'ore' like a grown-up.

"But you puff up pretty easily, don't you?"
"I'm just getting fired up. Especially when I score points."

"That's right."
