It's My Treat Today [Three-Line Dialogue Story]

"Extra green onions, please"

・Blonde hair
・Deck

Construction work broke for lunch, and Takahiro took his junior colleague to a beef bowl restaurant near the building construction site. Once they were seated, a staff member approached them.

"The touch panel is broken, so I will take your order directly."
"A large beef bowl for me. What about you?"
"I'll have the same. Also, extra green onions, please"

"Certainly."
"Come to think of it, you ordered extra green onions last time we came here, too."
"...Well, it's a way of paying back a favor."

The junior colleague looked embarrassed as he poured water into his empty glass.

"Back in high school, I was a bit of a troublemaker."
"Well, that's common in this industry."

"I dyed my hair blonde and went to school, and I got suspended."
"Well, that's bound to happen."

"I thought about quitting high school, but my teacher persuaded me to stay."
"Sounds like a real mentor."

"Yes. And I graduated properly, and he even helped me find a job."
"And that's how you became a construction deck worker."

"That's right."
"You were lucky to meet such a good teacher."

The staff member brought the beef bowls and placed them in front of the two men.

"My teacher has retired now and is growing green onions on his farm."
"So that's why you ordered extra green onions."

"I thought if I ate a lot of them, it might help him out."
"I see. From now on, I'll order extra green onions too."

Takahiro decided to keep quiet about the fact that what was in the beef bowl was onions, not green onions.
