We opened a stall at the East Central Street "Ennichi" festival!

Festivals are so exciting!

Due to an approaching typhoon, the date was postponed, and the "Ennichi" festival was held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the East Central Shopping Street parking lot near the East Exit of Kitamoto Station, right in front of the shops.

Usagikko Club also opened a stall!

We sold cotton candy, candy fishing, and ramune soda!

We let people make their own cotton candy if they wanted to, and I was soothed by the smiles of the children happily eating the cotton candy they made themselves. I hadn't thought about the height of the stand, so when small children made it, their parents had to lift them up. I will make sure to consider this next time we offer cotton candy!

For the candy fishing, we set it up so that when you caught a fish with the fishing rod, there was candy attached, and if you got a winning sticker, you could also choose one item from our selection of snacks, toys, or handmade goods. We also let them choose between a fishing rod made from a tree branch or one made from rolled-up paper to fish with. Seeing them focused and the smiles on their faces the moment they caught something filled me with joy, and I found myself cheering along with them, saying, "You caught it!" (lol)

It was a hot day, but thank you so much to the many people and the children from the after-school care program who came to visit us.

We are scheduled to open a stall at the Parent-Child Exchange Festival on Sunday, October 6!
