It was a victory we all achieved together...
February 17th, 23:00... The READYFOR crowdfunding campaign has successfully concluded.
Thanks to everyone who cooperated, we were able to cross the finish line with smiles on our faces. Thank you so much!
These were the 59 days I spent running this race with all of you.
No, that's not quite right...
My battle was a long, long fight that lasted a year.
I started looking for the two companies that would produce only the samples last February... began consultations in March... and started meetings and presentations on what kind of designs I wanted, what fabrics I wanted to use, and how I wanted them finished.
The first was pants... The "length adjustment mechanism" I happened to find during the consultation process was designed so that anyone... at any time... could adjust the length as they liked, provided they could handle buttons or hooks. My second son can't use a sewing machine... but he can handle buttons and hooks. His workplace is Photoshop, and he mentioned that every time he had to stop during a child's photo shoot because the hem he'd just folded inward had come undone, it was a hassle... so I thought this might solve that too.
And the company president who told me... I should get a "patent" for it...
Although it wasn't in the original plan, mass production of the pants had to wait until after I applied for the "patent." (This took about two and a half months... it was a huge miscalculation, but it must have been a plus for me.)
Then, around the same time as the pants consultation, I began consulting with another company for products aimed at women. This company was founded by women and specializes in making cute clothing. GAGO-276- is basically all unisex, so this was my first time producing items for women. Here, we moved forward with three items I had wanted to make for a long time: a blouse, a cardigan, and a skirt. We made first samples, and ultimately, I chose the skirt for the crowdfunding campaign.
※Regarding the detailed story of how I came to meet this company, I hope to talk about it someday in my "Chronicles of Struggle in Making Clothes for Achondroplasia."
In any case, around the same time the first samples for each were finished, I managed to reach an agreement with a new company that would handle mass production, after negotiating for a long time to meet my desired lot size and price, and I prepared to move forward with the crowdfunding.
Actually, around this time, I had used up so much physical and mental energy on adjustments and finding new companies that I ran away for 1 week before starting the crowdfunding (lol).
That's because next, I had to start the digital work I hate so much... I needed to save up my energy to tackle it.
From there, until the crowdfunding started on December 20th, days that were tough for someone as digitally challenged as me continued. I did check other people's pages as a reference... but I ended up thinking, "Wait, how do you do that?," and the page that was completed was neither stylish nor technically skilled. After praising myself by saying, "It's fine, it's fine, if I do my best with everything I can do right now, that's enough! Well done!," I pressed the application button (lol).
The circle of connections that started from here. The crowdfunding page that didn't have much movement. At that time, I received a DM through note... (Mayor Smile...the person who became my savior.) From there, the circle connected one after another, and some people pulled me along... and others pushed me from behind. Everyone gave me their strength in the way they could.
We reached the first goal...
We also reached the second goal...
I believe this led not only to clothing production but also to firmly raising awareness of the intractable disease of achondroplasia.
It was a battle I started alone, but on the final day, it became a victory that everyone achieved together.
I am grateful to have had such a valuable experience. I feel very happy, and it is undoubtedly an event I will never forget for the rest of my life.
From here, I will aim to complete the clothing production. And while there are many challenges ahead in raising awareness of achondroplasia and my clothing production activities, I will continue to move forward at my own pace without stopping. I would be happy if you could continue to watch over me. Thank you so much for walking with me until the very end, everyone!

Thank you so much!
※Of course, I would like to report on the progress of the clothing production on note.
(I think those who supported me will also receive a report email from READYFOR.)
《Notice》
Thankfully, during the crowdfunding period, I have received many likes, follows, and comments from all of you.
I am moving slowly, but I will be visiting your pages, so I would appreciate it if you could wait for me. Because I am digitally challenged, I am being careful, but I might miss something... if that happens, please let me know (^-^) Thank you.
