Self-Introduction: Why Morning Activities Changed My Life and How I Became a Morning Activity Advisor
My Journey as a Morning Activity Advisor: Realizations from a Reversed Day-Night Cycle and a New Beginning
Actually, my experience in the past has greatly influenced why I started as a morning activity advisor. Although I was supposed to be making a fresh start at the university I entered, I eventually found myself sinking into a nocturnal lifestyle. Playing games, surfing the internet, and staying up late became my daily routine, and my day-night cycle became completely reversed.
My junior once saw about 10 empty Coca-Cola cans scattered on my desk and the ashtray filled to the brim with cigarette butts, and even declared that it was the scariest story about cola they had ever heard.
As that lifestyle continued, I stopped going to university and eventually chose to drop out. After that, for two years, I had no energy to do anything and lived a life of seclusion at home. While living as a NEET, what I felt was a kind of heavy, stagnant sense of suffocation. Living days without any rhythm due to the reversed day-night cycle, both my mind and body gradually became exhausted, and the anxiety of 'Is it okay to go on like this?' slowly grew.
Returning to society, but with a strong realization that I had to fix my lifestyle
With the support of those around me, I pushed myself to start job hunting and finally returned to society. I went back to a life of working from morning until night, and while I felt like I was gradually reclaiming myself through work, perhaps due to work stress and long-term unhealthy habits, my body felt heavy, and I continued to be easily fatigued in terms of health. My weight remained high, andI keenly realized that at this rate, I was far from a truly 'positive life'.
So, I decided to 'create a new me using the morning hours' to first fix my life rhythm and improve my body. This was my serious encounter with morning activities.
The effects of changing my life little by little: The changes in mind and body brought about by morning activities
At first, I started within a reasonable range, gradually moving my body in the morning and incorporating stretching and walking. Then, I realized that just by moving my body in the morning, my mood became surprisingly bright, and I felt motivated for work. Especially once my life rhythm became regulated,I was naturally able to control my appetite appropriately, and my weight gradually began to decrease. In this way, I finally succeeded in losing 30 kilograms, and my physical condition improved significantly.
Furthermore, major changes appeared in terms of beauty and mental health. My skin became more radiant, gray hair and laugh lines became less noticeable, and I stopped getting acne as easily. What surprised me was that my mental calmness and concentration increased significantly. By using the morning time for myself, I was able to think clearly, as if the fog in my head had cleared.
A step as a morning activity advisor: Wanting to be close to those with the same worries
Having realized the wonders of morning activities myself, a strong desire grew in me to 'convey these lifestyle habits to people who are struggling in the same way.' Just like my former self,I wanted to tell those who feel that their daily life is somewhat stagnant, or those who are worried that their life rhythm is broken and their mood is not lifting, how much morning time can positively change their livesI thought.
The reason I have started working as a morning activity advisor now is that I want people to know that even if morning activities are not something special, you can change your daily life with the power of simple habits. Organizing your morning time is a 'small step' toward organizing yourself. And I am convinced that this step will be the trigger to regain your life rhythm, mental and physical health, and yourself.
As a morning activity advisor, I want to continue to support people according to their worries and goals. I would be happy if the experience I have walked through could be of help to those who are struggling in the same way.'
