Moments when I think, 'Aha, this person must have a partner.'
I have already stepped off the spiral of romance.
Since I got married in 2019, I no longer use my brain to go to new places to meet people or to speculate about whether someone I've met might have a partner.
If, hypothetically, I were still single at 33 and didn't have a specific partner, what kind of worries would I have, and what kind of daily life would I be living?
Wow, I wonder if this will be taken as sarcastic. I'm a little worried.
When standing at the starting line of romance, the most troublesome thing, I feel, is the verification process of whether or not the person you're interested in has a partner.
There is no task that causes more anxiety than this.
...
What I thought when I was single was that I wanted an "eye" for it.
What I mean by that is, I wanted an "eye" that could see, like AR, marks floating above the heads of everyone walking in the city, saying things like "I have a partner," "I don't have a partner but I'm not looking," "I don't have a partner and I'm actively looking," or "I'm actually free right now, so feel free to talk to me."
This.
I feel like if technology advances a little more,
it could become a reality.
For example, suppose smartphones become like contact lenses. This is a near-future world where the technology to replace the current smartphone device with something embedded in the body, or rather, with contact lenses, has been established.
Suppose you can check all information within your own field of vision and operate a browser with eye movements.
Since you would be able to augment information into the real world, it feels like you could create a world where, by utilizing AR (Augmented Reality) technology, sign marks like the ones mentioned earlier could float above the heads of people who have a specific app installed.
Well, I'll leave that to the science-minded people.
In short, it's a story about how it's a hassle to figure out whether or not a potential romantic candidate has a partner.
So today, assuming there is someone in your heart you think, 'Oh, I like this person,' I would like to write about the moments when you can judge whether or not that person has a partner.
In other words, as the title suggests, these are 'moments when you think, oh, this person has a partner.' Since I am a man, I could rephrase this as 'characteristics of a man who likely has a partner.'
With that said, let's go!
Let's! Do you have a partner!?
-I bet this person has a partner?

[1] They are knowledgeable about Samantha Vega
First, this one. If you know, you'll be in a storm of agreement. When people think of Samantha, they think of 'Samantha Thavasa,' but if a man appears who is a bit knowledgeable about its lower-priced series, 'Samantha Vega,' there is a very high possibility that he has a partner. Moreover, there is even a possibility that he is a high-quality catch with a solid sense of economics.
[2] They are somehow very easy to talk to
Men who have partners are usually good listeners. Be careful, because once they become married, they stop caring about communication between the opposite sex, but men who likely have partners will listen to stories without a punchline with a smile. This mysterious capacity for acceptance makes me think, 'I bet this person has a partner.'
[3] Their partner does not appear in their Instagram posts
This is already a scam. If a man posts photos of his partner all the time, it's easy to tell. However, a man who truly seems to have a partner knows the danger of having his partner's face on his timeline. What's more, it's troublesome because someone who looks like their partner appears in their Instagram Stories instead. The problem here is that you want to see the Stories but can't, and it skillfully shakes your psychology, so be careful.
[4] They give off a vibe that there might be a chance
The more you think someone is great while talking to them, the more likely they have a partner. For some reason, these people are good at giving off a vibe that there might be a chance. Whether it's a remnant of hunter-gatherer ancestors or a matter of pride, men who always want to project that they are popular are good at creating an atmosphere of 'Wait, could it be?' even if they have a partner. Don't get caught. These types 100% have a partner!
[5] They are slightly tanned
This is already a red flag. A man who is slightly tanned is either in a relationship or loves camping. I guarantee it. It's one or the other. A man with a healthy tan has, nine times out of ten, gone to a music festival with his partner this summer. And he's enjoying it in just the right way. The 'slight' tan is the key; if it's a heavy tan, it immediately becomes suspicious. In other words, there's a vibe that he's been listening to Mongol800 with other guys while drinking tequila.
[6] Can't meet on weekends
He 100% has a partner. Or rather, he's married. Absolutely not. There was a scene like that in a Southern All Stars song, and Akiko Kobayashi, famous for 'Fall in Love,' says the same thing. If a man appears who says, 'I have plans on the weekend, but Wednesday night works,' you should keep a 600-foot distance from him. It's obvious that you'll end up wanting to steal his weekend time.
[7] His sense of personal space is broken
A man with a partner tends to close the distance because of his emotional confidence. He tends to interact with you at a distance where you think, 'Wait!? Our thighs are touching!?' These guys are faithful to human instinct—that is, the desire to perpetuate their own genes—and have no boundaries. The fact that he's closing the distance means he definitely already has a partner, so if such a man appears, move back even further than the distance he closed.
Wait, huh...?
I've been writing this, but this article is...
Has it morphed into an article about how these men are 'good-for-nothings' before I realized it?
In short, if you feel that 'there might be a chance' mentioned in [4], there is a very high possibility that the person already has a partner, so this has become an article warning you not to get caught up in that.
Please let me know which number left the biggest impression on you.

<Afterword>
This has turned into an article where I can almost hear the voices saying, 'Well, what am I supposed to do then!' It's precisely because there's a sense of 'there might be a chance' that you think, 'Oh? Maybe it could work?' Hmm, I wonder what you should do. I think I might have written an article about 'just the right kind of guy' in the past, or maybe I didn't. I don't know anymore. Thank you for reading until the end today as well.
