- To Make a Good Impression at a First Meeting -
It is said that a person's first impression
is decided in an average of 7 to 8 seconds.
Because the quality of the first impression
can change how you interact in the future,
the impression at the moment of meeting is influential.
First,being able to greet with a smile and a bright voiceis important
as an initial hook.
Also, when you have become somewhat close
with someone older or in a higher position,
using overly formal language
can make you seem distant.
Therefore,using slightly more friendly languageto
interact can also be effective in some cases.

- Different Ways of Speaking for Men and Women -
What kind of words are effective to use
differs between men and women.
Example)
[When someone is in trouble]
Men:
Suggesting a solution like "If it's ~, you should do this"
Women:
Showing empathy and acknowledging the other person's feelings, such as "That must have been hard"
[When you want to acknowledge someone]
Men:
Acknowledging that they are socially useful, such as "Thanks to you, Mr./Ms. XX, our performance improved"
Women:
Conveying a message of gratitude, such as "Thank you as always," to acknowledge that they are useful to someone
Using these appropriately
is surprisingly effective
for building a relationship with the other person.
