What is "Lunapo"? Introducing LUNA STUDIO's internal recreation!
1. About LUNA STUDIO's internal recreation

At LUNA STUDIO, we don't just teach children the joy of exercise; we also value “having the working adults themselves enjoy it” as well.
That is why we launched an internal recreation project in the spring of 2025, aptly named—“Lunapo!”.
It is a uniquely LUNA STUDIO company culture that is now quietly gaining momentum, allowing us to interact across job types and positions while moving our bodies.
2. What is "Lunapo"?
"Lunapo" is the nickname for our internal event, derived from "LUNA STUDIO × Sports = Lunapo"!
It started in May 2025, and for the first event, we held basketball. For the second event, we rented out one of Tokyo's leading sports facilities, the "Komazawa Park Second Ball Sports Field", and held a futsal tournament!
Every time, “serious” competition that transcends departmental boundaries unfolds.
We plan to hold these regularly in the future, and requests like "I want to try this sport!" are very welcome!

3. What kind of members participate?

Participation in "Lunapo" is open to all staff involved with LUNA STUDIO!
Active instructors
Headquarters administration, marketing, and system teams
Also, prospective employees and part-timers
and even franchise (FC) owners!
It has become a place where we can transcend our respective positions and roles to sweat together as "colleagues".

4. Specific report

At the second "Luna-Po" held recently, we played futsal at a spacious venue called Komazawa Park's Second Ball Sports Field. Under the blue sky, the adults chasing the ball with all their might were even more lively than the children!

After the match, the participating members held an outdoor lunch party. With smiles that went beyond winning or losing and interactions with members we don't usually work with, it was a time that brought us much closer together.

5. Why do we do "Luna-Po"?

It might look like just a sports event, but "Luna-Po" is packed with LUNA STUDIO's passion.
To break down the walls between departments and branches, and foster vertical and horizontal connections
To step away from work and create opportunities to engage as our true selves
And, to cultivate the soil where we can think, "I want to do my best with this team"
Just as a "team" is important for the children in our classrooms, we also want to cherish the relationships between us as human beings.

6. Voices of participants
"It was refreshing to naturally talk during the match with people from headquarters I don't usually have the chance to speak with!" (Instructor)
"I'm better at lunch than futsal, but I'll participate next time too (laughs)" (Marketing Team)
"When it comes to sports, age and job title don't matter, it's the best!" (FC Owner)
With laughter and serious effort, one of the charms of "Luna-Po" is encountering sides of people you don't see in daily work.

7. Future prospects | A "Sports Day" in October!?
The monthly Luna-Po is... believe it or not, we are planning a LUNA STUDIO Grand Sports Day in October!
With team relay races and obstacle courses, I have a feeling that "serious adult battles" that rival the children's will unfold...!
Also, various other voices have been raised, such as "I want to play badminton" or "Dodgeball sounds good too."
If there is a sport you want to try, please let us know.
8. Conclusion
"Luna-Po" is not just recreation.
It has the power to connect "people to people" and create the "joy of working".
LUNA STUDIO wants to be a place that nurtures the future of children, while at the same time being a place where each staff member feels it is "a place I want to come back to tomorrow".
That sentiment is also alive in this event.
Being close to children, and adults playing seriously with each other.
That is LUNA STUDIO.
