Various kinds of "what matters." There are times when I suddenly realize that not only "keeping something close at hand," but even
"forgetting"oreven "letting go"can be connected to the importance of the other person,
and to cherishingmy own "now."It's a sudden realization.
That is surely,
a sign that the memories havesufficiently dissolved into
a part of myself.
That is surely,
the form they take after they have finished their role and
"it's okay now"
have peacefullyfallen asleep.
For people, there are times when they choose to "forget," as if relaxing the grip of a clenched hand.
And for some, they may experience the pain of having to forgive and watch over a loved one as they head toward a "world of forgetting."
Even if the shape changes,
the "feelings" that existed remain the same.
May your
feelings of "what matters"be gently conveyed
to the source of what is precious
to the person who is precious.

"matter of those feelings"that you held onto while trying to cherish it──was precious.
