From "I'm tired" to "I did my best": The power of positive words
Have you ever found yourself saying "I'm tired" without thinking?
I have (laughs).
But when you say the words "I'm tired" out loud, you really do feel tired. So, after I say it, I consciously try to rephrase it like this:
"I did my best."
This is very effective. By praising yourself, you get a feeling of "Alright!"
"That was good exercise."
I use this one often, too. This is for physical fatigue. Like when you go out, realize you forgot something, and rush back. It really is good exercise, after all.
I've thought of other positive ways to phrase things as well.
1. For mental "tiredness"
・Well done
・That was good
・I did great
・That was amazing
・Feels good
・Good job today
・That was fun
・I finished it
・I took action
・I played an active role
・Mission accomplished
・I did it
・I learned something
・I gave it my all
・That was a good experience
・That was rewarding
・I used my abilities to the fullest
・I used my energy for something important
2. For physical "tiredness"
・My body is happy
・It's good for my health
・I feel energized
・It's muscle training
・I'll sleep well tonight
・It was worth the physical effort
・I used my energy effectively
・I felt the joy of moving my body
So, those were some specific examples.
Let's use the power of words. Shower yourself with positive words and get into a positive mood!
