[Directional Travel Experience - West] December 2025. Unexpected extra income and the continuation of an 8-year-long 'reunion'.

I'm posting my directional travel experience report for December 2025!

As usual, I used the method taught by my mentor to travel in the 'West' direction.

December is a busy time with year-end parties and wrapping up work. In my circle, the 'shoi' (the meaning associated with that direction) manifested in such an interestingly clear way over the past month that I'm reporting it just as it happened.

1. Money matters. A small 'reward' that moved for the first time in 4 months.

Actually, I write a blog as a small side hustle, but my affiliate sales had completely stopped for about the last four months.

I had half-given up, thinking, 'Well, that's just how it goes,' but... right after I traveled in the West direction, I had an unexpected, sudden sale!

The amount isn't something I can brag about—it's just 'a little pocket money'—but the feeling of something that had been stuck finally starting to move brings a joy that goes beyond the numbers.
The West is said to govern 'financial luck,' so when extra income comes in this way, I honestly felt happy, thinking, 'Oh, is this the effect of the directional travel?' and I was a little scared by how real the effects were. Haha.

2. The storm of work has finally reached a state of calm.

In terms of work, last month (November) was quite turbulent, so compared to that, things have regained a lot of stability.
Of course, there were the usual year-end rushes and minor troubles, but I didn't have that feeling of being cornered and thinking, 'I can't do this anymore...' and I feel like I got through it peacefully.
Perhaps after the 'trials for growth' of last month, I have a little more breathing room for myself.

3. A slight sense of discomfort in 'human relationships' and a stress-induced fever.

However, there was an event that might have left me a bit exhausted.
There was someone at work with whom I felt a sense of 'Hmm...?' during our conversations.
They aren't a bad person, but the content of our conversations just didn't click with me. I think I tried too hard to be considerate and match them, which left me completely drained, resulting in a fever that felt like a stress-induced one. That said, it wasn't bad enough to take time off work or stay in bed.

In the world of directional travel, even if you go to a lucky direction, there are times when unavoidable influences occur due to the overlapping of annual and monthly charts.
Because it's difficult to seek '100% perfection' in directions, I feel that calmly observing changes in my own physical condition like this is also a form of learning.

4. With a senior colleague after 8 years. Rediscovering a comfortable 'sense of security'.

And, regarding the former colleague I reunited with after 8 years, which I also wrote about in my November report.
In December, we finally went out for a meal!
I was a little nervous since it had been a while, but the result was more fun than I imagined.
The tempo of our conversation, as well as our hobbies and values, felt like the same atmosphere as before, even after meeting for the first time in so long.
For 8 years, I had interacted with them as a close senior colleague, but when I faced them again, I found myself feeling, 'This atmosphere is so comforting.'

It wasn't an intense feeling of 'love at first sight,' but it was a feeling close to a premonition, where I naturally thought, 'Oh, I want to see them again...'

I felt the power of the 'West,' which is said to influence romantic luck, here as well.

December Summary

December was a month where I truly realized the amazing nature of directional travel.
Looking back, December was a month where the 'West' associations of financial luck and romantic luck appeared very strongly.

• Financial: Unexpected income from the blog I had given up on.

• Romantic: A fun reunion with a senior colleague and the budding of new feelings.

Of course, there were moments where I felt the difficulties of directional travel, such as feeling unwell, but overall, it was very stable, and I was able to spend a good end of the year.
