Why It Is Okay to Distance Yourself from People Who Make You Feel 'Somehow Tired'
Hello, this is Ken Honda.
It's not that they said anything particularly mean.
I know they aren't bad people.
But for some reason, I feel tired after meeting them.
When you are with such people, you feel like your energy is somehow being drained.
Is there anyone like that around you?
"Is it just my imagination?"
"Am I just being cold?"
Do you keep forcing yourself to maintain the relationship while thinking that?
Today, I will tell you why it is okay to value that "somehow" feeling.
That feeling is correct.
First, there is something I want you to know.
The feeling of being "somehow tired" is a sign from your soul. Everyone has their own
"energy". When you are with people whose vibrations match yours, you feel energized. When you are with people whose vibrations do not match, you feel depleted.
This is not just your imagination.
Your body and mind are reacting properly.
Even if your head thinks they are a "good person," your body is honest.
Please do not ignore that "somehow" feeling.
There are people who "drain your energy"
In this world, there are people who unconsciously drain other people's energy.
They don't mean any harm.
But for some reason, you end up feeling tired when you are with them.
For example, people like this:
・People who always talk about complaints or dissatisfaction
・People who only talk about themselves and don't listen to you
・People who always seem to have problems and get you involved
・People who make you feel like you have to walk on eggshells
If you keep interacting with such people, your energy will continue to decrease.
And, you will run out of energy to use for the things that are truly important.
Are you sacrificing yourself out of "kindness"?
The kinder you are, the more you tend to think things like this:
"Maybe they are lonely too."
"If I leave, I might hurt them."
"I don't want to be thought of as a cold person."
That kindness is wonderful.
But please think about it.
Is kindness that sacrifices yourself truly kindness?
If you become exhausted and run out of energy, you won't be able to cherish the people who are truly important to you.
Protecting yourself is not selfish.
Only those who can cherish themselves can cherish others.
Distancing yourself is not the same as "hating" someone
When you hear "distance yourself," you might feel resistance as if you are hating the other person.
But, distancing yourself and hating someone are different.
There is no need to deny the other person.
There is no need to try to change them either.
You are simply "leaving to protect yourself."That is not an attack on the other person, but love for yourself.
In fact, forcing yourself to stay together while harboring dissatisfaction in your heart is unhealthy for both of you.
When you leave, new encounters will come
Human relationships also need "space."If your time and energy are filled with relationships with people who make you tired, new encounters cannot enter.
When you distance yourself, a void is created there.
Then, mysteriously, the universe
will bring you someone to fill that void.
Someone whose vibrations match yours more closely.
Someone who makes you feel energized when you are with them.
Someone with whom you can elevate each other.
Such encounters are waiting for you.
"Leaving" is not "losing," but preparation for "welcoming something new."
It is okay to trust your own feelings
"Somehow tired."
That feeling is not wrong.
Your soul is teaching you something important.
You don't need to feel guilty.
You don't need to blame yourself.
You have the right to protect yourself.
You don't have to force yourself to continue the relationship.
It is okay to quietly and gently distance yourself from strange people.
That is what it means to cherish yourself.
Please use your energy for things that are truly important.
