　Today, I received flowers from my regular clinic.💐　
　I was so happy that I roasted some sweet potatoes. Piiyan, please eat to your heart's content.🍠

　I also received flowers from the assistant butler, so I was able to set up an altar. Since I had them, I also offered some doggy cookies. You must be happy in heaven, but receiving so many flowers makes you the happiest doggy ever.
　Moreover, I received comments from everyone on note, which made you an even happier doggy, so thank you very much.😊
　There were even people who sent gifts of encouragement to the butler, and I am truly grateful. Human connections are wonderful.👍

🌸 Today I greeted the French Bulldog's owner

　When I don't have any errands to run first thing in the morning, I continue my park walks. Today I tried walking around the pond.

　I met the owner of the French Bulldog, whom I used to greet every day, for the first time in a while.
　"Oh? Where is your dog?🐶"
   "He passed away."
   "Was it a sudden death?"
  "He was eating his rice🍚 right up until the end, though."
  We exchanged these words, and the conversation turned to the French Bulldog's predecessor.
It seems that dog died of pulmonary edema, and when they went to the vet, they were told it was already in a critical state.
　When I mentioned that my dog also had tracheal collapse, they asked if it might have been pulmonary edema.
　They mentioned that brachycephalic breeds like French Bulldogs are prone to tracheal collapse and have short lifespans. About 11 to 12 years, they said.
　Furthermore, they said that all French Bulldog births are by cesarean section, and mother dogs can only give birth twice in their lifetime.
　Out of five puppies born, two had deformities like missing legs, and puppy prices tend to skyrocket; I heard that the dog right in front of me cost 550,000 yen.
　I was surprised to hear that some French Bulldogs cost as much as 1 million yen.
　Above all, the birth process for French Bulldogs is so hard that I felt a sense of guilt as a human.
　Piiyan was happy, but I wondered about his mother and father.
