The Softest Season
That day, the meadow was as warm as a dream.
The harsh cold of winter had passed, and the soft sunlight was vividly illuminating the green of the young grass.
The master of the meadow, a rabbit named Lolo, was surrendering himself to that warmth.
He took a deep breath of the scent of soft grass that had grown while soaking up plenty of sunlight.
In that moment, his figure was the very embodiment of world peace.
However, there was another reason why Lolo felt truly at ease.
“Alright, nothing to report.”
From a slightly elevated spot across the meadow, a small but clear voice could be heard.
Standing there was the lookout, a meerkat named Momo.
Momo stretched her small body to its full extent, keeping her sharp eyes fixed on the distant horizon.

“Momo, why don't you take a little break?” Lolo asked.
“It’s such beautiful weather, after all.”
“Keeping watch is my job,” Momo replied, but her voice held a sense of duty distinct from the rabbit's tranquility, along with a somewhat proud tone.
To her, this “warm spring landscape” was not just a beautiful view.
It was the most precious “peace” itself, protected by her own vigilance.Lolo was able to close his eyes in peace precisely because Momo was right there beside him, constantly keeping watch over their surroundings.
Lolo smiled slightly at Momo's back and closed his eyes deeply once more under the warm sunlight.
Between the two of them, a silent yet certain trust flowed as quietly as the wind in the meadow.
Today's Abstract Painting

The trust between the two is something that cannot be fully expressed in words.
It is to the point where, although they seem like separate hearts, they are effectively one.
Why is that? I think I might talk to you all about that another time.
Please wait a little while until then.
