Rather than understanding everything,
I value leaving behind the feelings that catch my attention in words.

Furthermore,

   Time spent with friends I previously felt comfortable and happy with.
   However, as my learning deepened, my values changed,
   and I no longer felt the appeal of the "time that should have been fun."
   I was worried about how to face this sense of discomfort.
