Ultimately, this is the best. I want to recommend AirPods
I have strayed to other wireless earphones several times in the past, but
I always end up coming back to AirPods.
There really isn't anything that can beat them in terms of ease of use and connectivity.
This time, I have summarized the things I love about AirPods and the accessories I use with them.
Reasons why I love AirPods
Seamless switching between Apple devices
I use them while switching between my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook, and the connection switches with almost no stress.
Every time I switch to another brand's earphones, I feel the difference here and end up coming back.
Strength and naturalness of noise canceling
Not only is it powerful, but I also like that there is very little unnatural pressure when it is turned on.
Naturalness of transparency mode
Compared to other companies' products, the lack of discomfort when turned on stands out.
The natural feeling of being able to have a conversation while wearing them is a major strength of AirPods.
The "Find My" feature
When I panicked after realizing they weren't in my bag,
I checked their location with "Find My" and it displayed "With You."
I searched the bottom of my bag thoroughly and they were right there.
This might be the number one feature I'm glad to have.
Controls are stem-press and slide type
I'm not a fan of earphones like the Sennheiser Momentum that you operate by tapping the body,
as the vibration of the tap goes directly to my eardrums, which bothers me.
AirPods use a stem-press and slide operation, so there is no impact on the eardrums,
and they are easy to operate.
AirPods models
Apple AirPods Pro 3
¥39,800
If you like noise canceling, the Pro 3 is definitely the one.
It is fully equipped with Active Noise Cancellation, a heart rate sensor, hearing aid features, live translation, and spatial audio.
It is the top-tier AirPods model for those who want to block out sound effectively with an in-ear design.
Apple AirPods 4 (with noise canceling)
¥23,798(20% off)
For those who dislike the pressure of in-ear types but still want noise canceling.
The open-ear design provides a light fit, making them comfortable to wear for long periods.
They are also packed with features like live translation, adaptive audio, wireless charging, and "Find My" support.
Apple AirPods 4 (without Noise Cancellation)
¥17,080 (22% off during time sale)
For those who don't need noise cancellation.
You can use them simply with up to 30 hours of battery life and a lightweight open-ear fit.
Accessories
Comply TRUEGRIP MAX Eartips (Exclusively for AirPods Pro 3, Black)
¥5,940
These are foam-type eartips with such high perfection that they should be the standard.
They are expensive, but the quality is worth it.
With the original tips, there was a slight gap in my left ear, making the noise cancellation feel unbalanced, but that was completely resolved after switching to these.
The seal is improved, and it becomes quite quiet when noise cancellation is turned on.
Includes 3 pairs in Mix sizes S/M/L.
iFace Reflection Case for AirPods Pro 3 (Black)
¥2,640
The original white case is prone to scratches, so I recommend keeping it in a case.
The iFace polycarbonate clear case protects it from scratches while still showing off the design of the case itself.
It comes with a carabiner, which is subtly convenient for not losing it inside your bag. It also supports wireless charging.
Summary: Which one should you choose?
[Best Noise Cancellation & Full Features] → AirPods Pro 3 (¥39,800)
[Less Pressure & Want Noise Cancellation] → AirPods 4 with Noise Cancellation (¥23,798)
[No Noise Cancellation Needed & Focus on Fit] → AirPods 4 without Noise Cancellation (¥17,080)
[Want to Further Enhance Pro 3 Noise Cancellation] → Comply TRUEGRIP MAX (¥5,940)
