After that, Megumi continued through the forest, defeating slimes and small monsters along the way.

Every time my level went up, my physical abilities increased as well. I was able to move in ways I couldn't have imagined back when I was a gloomy office worker.

Right after I got carried away, a low growl echoed from deep within the forest.

A giant wolf-type monster appeared, knocking down trees as it came.

The man's name was Yuto Aizawa.

───There stood a black cat.

Its black fur illuminated by the moonlight.

Golden eyes.

A strangely arrogant expression.

"Oh, it's just a cat."

"So cute! So fluffy!"

The moment Megumi approached, the black cat opened its mouth.

"My name is Kuro."

"Whoa! That's so chuunibyou!!"

Megumi retorted immediately.

Kuro twitched his ears.

"What is that reaction?"

"No, that's definitely a cool name you came up with yourself!!"

"It is not."

"It definitely is."

Yuto burst out laughing.

Then I'll call you Kuro-chan.

Stop it.

Kuro-chan!

Commentary
I like the witty remarks of BL-loving girls, so I made her the protagonist.
The partner is a normal boy. Although he is set as an otaku.
