It's a bit late, but I'd like to introduce my online meetup.

Hello everyone.
This is Chawan.

The "note online chat meetup" that I started suddenly.
I started it in April and have held it four times so far.

Come to think of it, I realized I hadn't explained anything! So, I'm introducing it now, albeit a bit late.

If you happen to see a recruitment post, please feel free to apply. It's free. And I only hold it once or twice a month.

So, I'll write about it in a Q&A format.

Q1. Why did you start it?

Don't you feel like something is missing? (Answering a question with a question)

Getting likes and comments on note... of course, that makes me happy!

However, gradually, I started wanting to talk to the people who give me likes, leave comments, or people I'm curious about.

I thought it would be nice to talk casually. I wandered around the streets of note looking for such a meetup, but there wasn't one.

Surprisingly, there aren't many meetups for casual chatting. Since there weren't any, I decided to start one myself.

I might look like I have a lot of initiative, but I started this with the feeling of jumping off the stage at Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Hiyah!

Q2. What kind of meetup is it?

It's a meetup where about 3 to 5 people chat using Zoom.

Since most people are meeting for the first time, I set two talk themes to make it easier to talk.

I come up with the themes, or I get them from the participants. They change every time.

The style of this meetup is basically free! Comments and questions are all welcome. I make sure that everyone participating has a chance to speak.

Q3. What kind of people participate?

For now, it's limited to note users.

Also, for those who are comfortable showing their face. I like communication where I can see expressions.

Since I don't record the sessions, your face will only be seen by the participants of the meeting. So, I hope you can join without worrying too much.

Even if you're not good at talking. I'm the same way. I stutter when I let my guard down. And I get incoherent. But that's okay.

Starting next month, I'm thinking of opening up some of the events to Twitter as well. Ah, I'm already nervous.

Q4. Why do you keep doing this?

The motivation for starting the meeting was "I want to talk," but recently the purpose is starting to change.

That is, to be exposed to various ways of thinking.

I like discovering ideas that are different from my own. Like, "That's different!" haha

So, I'm making it a place where you can freely talk about your opinions, like "I'm thinking about this." Someone even commented that it's like a brainstorming session.

I wrote some stiff things, but in reality, it's not that stiff! It's a place to ask what you want to ask and talk about what you want to talk about, haha.

Q5. What will you do in the future?

Undecided!
I haven't decided how long I'll continue.

That said, I have a few ideas for meetings I'd like to have, so I'll continue at a pace of once or twice a month.

July

A meeting themed around "Overseas Travel/Living Abroad."
This will be open to Twitter.

And a small-group note online chat meeting.
This will be on note.

August?

note online chat meeting.

note online presentation meeting.

September

note online chat meeting (limited to those who have participated before) Everyone, how are you doing?

Oh, there are a lot when I write them down, haha.

I'll make the note online chat meetings I've been holding about once every two months. If you find one, please join.

*From September onwards, I'm thinking of making some parts paid. Because of the Zoom fees (T . T)
Please let me know if there are any good free tools other than Zoom.

*If you would like to host an online event, please consult with me. Please contact me via comments or the inquiry form (^^)

Thank you for reading this time as well!
Look forward to the next one!
