For those meeting me for the first time, my name is Chawan.
I host an online social gathering once or twice a month. Anyone is welcome to join, so please feel free to participate if you are interested. I look forward to seeing you.

Now, I am starting an online social gathering that I have been preparing.

It is called "Three Books -Encounter with Books-"! Round of applause.

Why not introduce three books you have chosen?

Essays by your favorite author, a book that changed your way of thinking, a history book written by a Roman. Any book is fine. This is an online social event where you can introduce books that are important to you. On the day, please talk about the book's information (title, author, content), the reason you chose it, and any episodes related to it. It is autumn, the season for reading. Let's have fun talking while holding our favorite books!

Even if it is your first time, you can feel at ease talking.

Using Zoom's breakout room feature, you will be divided into groups of 3 or 4 to introduce your books.
20 minutes per book introduction (planned) × 3 times

One day, I suddenly thought, "It would be fun to introduce books to each other!" It is a mystery why I thought of that. It probably just fell from the heavens. I left a tweet about this on July 12th.

Two months have passed since then. I have been thinking about the structure like crazy (lol) and posting announcements little by little. I asked people close to me about their three books and listened to their impressions. We even expanded from books to changing the topic to movies for fun.

I have prepared a lot, but I don't know what will happen on the day~(><)
I hope you will participate with an open mind, and actually, I would appreciate your help.
