Searching for Hida’s Nature and the Secrets of the Earth (Ep.13 | Hikaru Museum)
“Wait…
Did a world like this really exist long ago?!”
Today, Teru visits the Nature Exhibition
at the Hikaru Museum with Mom and Dad.
Inside the gallery,
minerals and fossils line the room—
all telling stories from Earth’s long history.
The moment Teru steps inside,
his eyes grow wide.
⸻
◆ Shiny Minerals Everywhere!
Shelves filled with colorful minerals.
Depending on the light,
they sparkle in different ways.
“Dad, look!
This stone is glittering!”
Teru stares at them like he’s on a treasure hunt.
Mom smiles and says,
“It’s amazing how nature makes these shapes.”
⸻
◆ Feeling Earth’s History in the Fossil Corner
There are fossils of ancient creatures—
ammonites, trilobites, and more.
“Did these really live a long time ago?”
“Yes,” Dad says.
“It shows how old the Earth is.”
“Wow… that’s incredible.”
Standing in front of creatures from millions of years ago,
Teru feels like he’s traveling through time.
⸻
As they walk through the exhibits,
Teru starts thinking.
“I wonder…
were the mountains and rivers in Hida
already here back then?”
Dad laughs softly.
“Yes. Nature is made over a very long time.”
Teru nods quietly
and looks closely into the glass case.
Somehow,
a small feeling appears in his heart—
“Nature is really important.”
⸻
🌈 Next Time
