💗 [Maximum] Article Performance [Note Strategy Guide]

Greetings, everyone.

For those meeting me for the first time, here is my self-introduction. I would be happy if you could take a quick look.

By reading this article, you will understand:

• 1. How to improve article performance

• 2. The relationship between views and likes

• 3. The appropriate number of articles

These three points will become clear.

Now, shall we get to the main topic?

✅ What I have done

To increase my view count, I have utilized "tweets". If you just want to increase views, this method is the quickest way.

This method certainly earns views. Why was I doing such a thing? It was because I wanted to show my achievements with numbers.

Two months after starting Note, I achieved 120,000 total views, which is not easily accomplished, and there were times when I exceeded 30,000 views per week.

However, I am always conducting some kind of verification. As a result, my weekly view count has been dropping slightly. Even so, as of the time of writing this article, I have 27,000 views.

In the future, it is expected to decrease a little more and settle around 10,000 to 20,000.

✅ What is article performance?

There are three indicators for articles, aren't there?

• Number of views

• Number of comments

• Number of Likes

For now, I suppose I'll just leave the comments alone. After all, they're a hassle.
However, I can offer a little bit of advice regarding comments as well. I might touch on that later.

For now, I want to focus on view counts and like counts.
I want to maximize these two. There are several ways to think about this.

• Pin an article

• Don't post articles frequently

• Improve how you write articles

• Give likes

I'll explain them in order.

1) Pin an article

This is obvious, isn't it? If you pin an article, you can occupy a prominent spot on your creator page.

Even so, it's meaningless if there's no traffic to your creator page.

2) Don't post articles frequently

This is the exact opposite of what I've been doing. If you don't post frequently, you can occupy the space right below your pinned article.

However, this also has a bit of a problem. If you don't post articles regularly, you won't be seen as an active user.
I wonder if that affects the growth of your follower count.

3) Improve how you write articles

This is easy. First, write about "what you will learn by reading this article."
On the surface, I think readers will read that and decide whether to read the rest.

But that's just the surface-level story.

Are they really readers?

That's the thing. On note, aren't the majority of people just "liking" without reading the article at all? I don't think that's necessarily bad.
Likes are a form of communication, so I suppose it's up to them how they use them.

And those types of people either don't read the article at all or only read the beginning. So, write something interesting at the beginning for them.

If it goes well, you can even get them to read further. That is, if the content is truly intriguing.

Also, I'll touch on comments.
If you want people to comment, you should pose a question to the reader.

4) Give 'Likes'

I wrote a little about this in yesterday's article as well.

Japanese people have a sense of reciprocity, so when something is done for them, they feel like they |must| (●●●●) return the favor. Of course, not everyone is like that, and if 20-30% return the favor, that's a job well done.

Therefore, if you want 'Likes', you have no choice but to give 'Likes'.
And when you give a 'Like', it also leads to earning access to your creator page. It makes sense, right? Because the other person will come over to give a 'Like' as well.

✅ Balance is important

I've listed four points, but the balance between them is important. Especially 'do not post articles too frequently'.

From what I've verified, 2-3 articles a day is appropriate.
There is a good reason for this, as only up to 3 items are displayed as |latest articles| (●●●●) on the creator page.

I suppose it means there is a pinned article, and 3 more are lined up below it.

And regarding the ratio of 'Likes' to view counts, if you can get 10%, isn't that decent? I'm still in the middle of verifying this, but I intend to increase it a bit more.

✅ Summary

To improve the performance of a single article:

• Pin the article

• Do not post articles frequently

• Be creative with how you write articles

• Give 'Likes'

• Post 2-3 articles per day

I hope you understand that these things are important, don't you?

However, writing 2-3 articles a day is tough, isn't it? So, you should mix in some tweets. Actually, just tweets might be fine too.

When you consider the three points of effort to write, view count, and like count, 'tweets' are the most cost-effective.
