[Love Sweets] #27 The Microcosm of a Shine Muscat Parfait
An invitation from a sweets-loving girl
A wonderful girl I met through work who is a sweets connoisseur invited me, saying, "There's an event where you can eat a
Shine Muscat and jasmine parfait, would you like to join me?"
A Shine Muscat parfait!? I'm so there! So, I excitedly went to participate!
A gem of a parfait limited to 20 servings
The venue was a rental space called Coffee & Works Daikanyama. It was an event where a baked goods shop called
MAKIMONO was serving an original parfait limited to 20 servings that day.
A microcosm and fantasy spreading across the plate

On the day of the event, girls with hearts full of anticipation gathered at the venue.
My heart was already racing at the plate that was brought out...

The glass contained seven ingredients, and the plate was served with pound cake, crumble, meringue, and figs, accompanied by jasmine syrup.
What a luxurious space!! It truly is a
microcosm of the heart, Pegasus Fantasy...! (by Saint Seiya. Sorry, you probably don't know that...)
The ways to enjoy it are infinite! A beautiful chaos

Unable to suppress my excitement, I first scooped up the vanilla ice cream with a cookie! The cookie is thick, super crunchy, and delicious♡
You can put the crumble into the glass and pair it with the rare cheesecake, or pour the jasmine syrup over it.
When you reach the bottom, roasted green tea granola appears with a crunch. It's happiness down to the very last bite...
A marriage of ingredients is a common phrase, but this went beyond that realm; it was a polygamous wonderland. (I mean that as a compliment!)
The difference between the slim, wonderful girl and me

By the way, as we enjoyed the parfait together, talking about what we liked—'I like this,' 'I prefer that'—I suddenly realized something.
Things I like: vanilla ice cream, cookies, crumble
Things she likes: jasmine, figs (her absolute favorite)
*Neither of us is interested in sweet potatoes, chestnuts, or pumpkin (is there really anyone like that...?!)
The things I like are high-calorie, while the things she likes are relatively healthy!
She loves delicious food and eats out all the time, yet she is still so slim.
So that's why... it all made sense.
Are the things you like healthy? Or are they guilty pleasures? Either way, what you love is precious, so it's all good!Right? Haha.
Thank you very much for reading this far.
