Brief Work History

I originally joined a local advertising agency as a planner.

Because I had a strong creative mindset—creating something from nothing—I later changed jobs to a production company that acted as a subcontractor for advertising agencies.

I spent about 10 years in the advertising industry, working at both agencies and production companies, but I became interested in the world of mail-order sales, where advertising functions as sales and retail for general companies, so I changed jobs to a mail-order company in the same area.

Having grown up in the advertising field for 10 years, I was confident in my ability to create ads, but when I first joined this mail-order company, the response rate (customer reactions such as purchases or requests for information) did not improve at all, and I felt like my future was pitch black.

Ads created by regular employees who had never been in the advertising industry had much better response rates, and I kept losing my confidence.

“I should throw away all my past experience once.”

At the same time I reached that resolution, I realized that the most important thing for mastering mail-order advertising was studying psychology.

Copy that you read unconsciously, products you find yourself wanting to buy.

Making the unconscious conscious, I began to think deeply about how to convey what I wanted to communicate.

In other words, I stopped thinking about how to sell things and started thinking only about how to get people to take action to buy.

Because of that, my response rate began to rise rapidly to become the best in the company, and eventually, I was able to sell out products costing hundreds of thousands of yen using only copywriting.

I was able to receive several national advertising awards, and now I am planning and implementing new businesses based on psychology.

Improving Illness with Psychology

“Planning and implementing new businesses based on psychology.”

You might think everything is going well if you only read that, but a few years ago, I was diagnosed by a psychosomatic medicine clinic with Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD).

However, even when I went to the hospital, the doctor didn't give much advice (perhaps intentionally), just listened intently to my condition and gave me medicine.

That treatment period lasted about a year, but I felt a sense of emptiness, so I stopped taking the medication entirely, “I have to do something about it myself,” and at that time, I studied psychology and NLP, and gradually improved by putting what I learned into practice.

Furthermore, despite having SAD (Social Anxiety Disorder) which makes me feel 'interpersonal fear,' I have been working in corporate sales for a new business and managed to achieve a tenfold increase in sales six years after the first year.

What do I want to write about on note?

Human psychology is universal, across all times and places.

I hope to write on note about the fascination and depth of psychology that I have noticed in daily life and business scenes, as well as methods for winning people over based on psychology.

Thank you for reading to the end, despite my clumsy writing.

I look forward to working with you from here on.

Here is another self-introduction.
