The Charm of Words#The Charm of Letters#The Charm of Imagination and Embellishment
Morning Routine
On summer mornings, from around 4 o'clock, from my east-facing bed, I see the
glorious morning sun.
And then, just past 6 o'clock, I stretch on the bed.
I drink a glass of water with rosemary that I prepared in a pot the night before, and water the garden.
Harvesting blueberries, green shiso, rosemary, and so on.
While having breakfast,
marinating the green shiso in soy sauce or prepping vegetables is also a somewhat enjoyable ritual.
An Elderly Person's Morning
Waking up at 4 a.m. to use the restroom.
I think about how I wish I could sleep soundly until morning, and then I go back to sleep.
Lately, if I don't stretch my body on the bed, my body feels stiff.
Watering in the morning makes me irritated when the hose gets tangled.
Rosemary and shiso propagate like weeds.
The birds eat the sweet ones, and the remaining blueberries are sour.
Summer gardening is, above all, hot, and I get bitten by mosquitoes.A home vegetable garden takes time and effort.
At harvest time, there is more than I can eat.
I have no choice but to preserve them long-term by marinating them in soy sauce.
.The vegetables are too misshapen to share with the neighbors.
”Homegrown vegetables are delicious, aren't they?” My husband, who loves planting vegetables, looks happy.
”
Hmph! How carefree!”
It is far cheaper and easier to
buy only what you need of washed vegetables at the supermarket a 5-minute walk away..
Both are the same morning.

Things I'm glad I chose for myself
It's the same with my husband.
My meticulous husband is thoughtful.
My husband, who has strong preferences, cooks delicious food.
”He is thoughtful and good at cooking, you know.” When I say this to my elderly parents, they rejoice, saying, ”You married a good person.”
”He's meticulous, has strong preferences, and is super troublesome.” I also get excited talking about this with my mom friends.
In life, I think there are surprisingly many things that can be handled by
”how you set your mind to it.”
The beautiful expressions and words in my favorite essays and cookbooks are
visualized even more attractively by my brain's imagination.
That is why I, who am enjoying country life, and I, who am living happily with a wonderful husband,
with my imagination,
create words in my brain that visualize ”my wonderful life.”
My
”things I'm glad I chose for myself” is living while using good imagination.
This is the best!
No mistake about it☆彡!! I intend to use my good imagination and fully enjoy happiness.
