A few things about rescue cats and New Year's.

New Year's is funny. And kind.
(Inside the house) If there is someone in the east who is hurting, they silently snuggle up and spend time with them, and if there is a man and woman (my husband and I) about to fight in the west, they rush over and pull a "stop it" move.
What's wonderful is that none of it is pushy.
On the other hand, while they seem tougher than they do during Obon, I feel like they rely on Obon more during New Year's.

With white paws and a white collar, this tough-looking, unique gal is very picturesque.
